Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick gives Manchester United a 3-2 win over Norwich City

Manchester United have beaten Norwich at home in a tough game that could be crucial in the race for the top four.

When rivals Tottenham and Arsenal lost, United got the chance to take advantage of their misfortune, but almost threw it out.

As fans slowly moved from the protests against the Glazer, the game started and Lingard made some good runs and moved forward in the first two minutes.

On the other hand, Pukki had a chance in the first three minutes. He made a streak and took it the first time, but de Gea came out and got really big, saving United from an initial deficit.

Elanga had good control of the ball in the penalty area and fired a difficult shot overhead, but ran out of power and hit Krul’s gloves.

However, on the 8th minute, Norwich decided to play from behind, but Elanga put pressure on the defenders and stole it from Gibson in his own field. He handed it to Ronaldo, who was waiting inside, and pushed it into the open gate.

Norwich tried to get back into the game right away having a good possession spell in the attacking half.

Lingard, who enjoyed a rare start under Rangnick, was involved in all the positive that United did.

It was end to end as he guarded the edge of United’s field, Pogba intercepted the ball and started a counter attack by playing for Elang who made a great run.

United were hungry and Lingard fired but refused Krul’s brilliant defense. Another corner hit the penalty area by Telles, and it was Ronaldo who once again climbed over the rest and directed him towards the back of the goal.

But The Canaries did not lose when they wanted to start the comeback, starting with a free kick just outside the penalty area, but it was not on target and de Gea did not mind.

After the break, they managed to get one back, Pukki with a pass through the box, where Dowell waited to nod, ahead of de Gea.

The second half began as Ronaldo was looking for his 50th club hat-trick and Lingard still has something to prove.

For all their positive work in the future, it was all set back in one swift move of Norwich. A perfectly timed pass allowed Pukki to score and he calmly defeated de Gea.

Rasica thought that the third moment later Norwich hit with a beautiful strike, but somehow de Gea set about pushing him just past the post.

United held the ball too long and couldn’t get rid of their shots.

When United looked to be behind, Elanga won the free kick in a dangerous area. Cristiano Ronaldo stepped into action with one thing in mind! He fired a rocket from a shot, to which Krul was hit with two hands, but it had such power that he could not stop it. Ronaldo did it, his 50 club hat trick!

United have rejuvenated themselves and Mata has made a huge difference since he came onto the pitch creating chances for the forwards.

Norwich knocked on the door late, but United held three points and Ronaldo scored the match ball.
