Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.
According to James Robson (Goal), the Red Devils will gladly sign Bachmann as a replacement for the outgoing Dean Henderson.
Henderson is on the verge of getting a loan from the newly promoted Nottingham Forest, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Englishman impressed many with his performances and was expected to replace De Gea in the team.
However, the Spaniard’s excellent form last season prevented Henderson from looking into the first team.

Notthingham Forest is also working on signing a contract with Moussa Niakhaté from Mainz – negotiations are well advanced.

His departure would leave United briefly in the goalkeeping department. Aside from David De Gea, Tom Heaton is United’s only senior goalkeeper.
The club wants to fill this void by signing a contract with Bachmann. Earlier, we discussed the Athletic report, mentioning the club’s initial interest.
Following the Watford decline, the Austrian is expected to be available for around £ 4 million.
Bachmann is expected to be De Gei’s double and could become United’s goalkeeper in the cup competition.
The 27-year-old is 6 feet tall and looks good in his box. Not the best with his feet, Bachmann is more old school when it comes to his style.
His top-flight experience in England will help him deal with the pressure at United.
For the price it feels like Man Utd should make a deal.
