In the current situation, Nemanja Matic will leave Manchester United this summer

Matic signed a contract with Chelsea for around £ 40m in the summer of 2017.
Former manager Jose Mourinho was an ardent admirer of the player and was convinced he was part of United’s successful team.
Unfortunately for Matic, things didn’t quite work out, and his treatment after Mourinho’s release was nothing but disrespectful.
United are deprived of options in midfield and Matic is the club’s only natural defensive midfielder.
Even so, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stubbornly played against players such as Fred and Scott McTominay for their energy and persistence, often compromising ball quality.
This led to United’s possession problems, with the midfielders’ inability to dictate the pace from the center of the field.
Matic has always been safe on the ball and his passes from breaking the line automatically set up dangerous attacks for the forwards.
On the other hand, the Serb has struggled to finish 90 minutes in the last two seasons and is often replaced quite early in the game.
His lack of agility sometimes causes him to lose his man or get overtaken by a younger, tenacious midfielder.
The club decided it was time to move on.
For United, it is imperative to find a viable replacement for Matic as this is one of the most important positions on the team.
