2022 Detroit Lions top 30 pre-project visit tracker, local pro day attendees

With just over two weeks into the NFL draft in 2022, the Detroit Lions are going overboard. Now that the pro days are mostly over, the team is inviting players to Allen Park for one-on-one visits. During these visits – colloquially referred to as “top-30 visits” as each team can only have 30 – players are not allowed to undergo soccer drills, but this is an opportunity for Lions coaches and human resources to get to know the person better and also practice them football questions.

In addition to the top 30 visits, Lions also held their local pro day earlier this week. The Lions can host players from local colleges or players from the Detroit (ish) area for training on a pitch similar to normal work days.

Reports on each of these visits have been coming in for several weeks and we are tracking them. It is worth noting that some of these reports are uncertain – often no distinction is made between a visit by the top 30 and a local visit during the day – therefore this list should be treated as very unofficial. There is no official published list anywhere.

However, it still serves as a good resource for players the Lions have asked for additional access to, and can give tips on who might be interested in a draft pick later this month.

Without further ado, here are our top 30 Detroit Lions 2022 visits and a local pro-day tracker.

Note: This list will be updated over the next two weeks.
